How does a Fondant Cuisine class work?
For each of our cooking classes, we welcome you to a warm and fully equipped kitchen. Once you've donned your chef's aprons, you'll be guided for two hours by Chef Emilie's tips and tricks, as she shares classic French and international cooking techniques: cutting, cooking, sauces, and homemade pasta. Afterwards, you'll enjoy a convivial meal featuring the dishes you've prepared. The recipes are sent to you at the end of the class so you don't miss a thing.
What formats do you offer?
Three formats available: - Group cooking classes: seasonal menu, French, Asian, or Moroccan cuisine. Dates and menu options are available for booking on the "Cooking Classes" page. - Team building: collaborative cooking classes, Top Chef challenges between teams, or customized workshops adapted to your needs (number of participants, budget, duration, allergies). - Private classes: birthdays, bachelorette/bachelor parties, or while visiting Bordeaux. Create your own memories with friends or family. You choose the date, time, and menu for a unique experience that reflects your style.
What types of cuisine do you learn?
Classic French cuisine (traditional techniques and recipes), Asian or Mediterranean cuisine, and even pastries. Menus are seasonal and prepared with fresh, local ingredients. We can offer numerous suggestions for private events. Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced cook, our chefs will adapt to your skill level.
What happens during a team building session?
We handle all the organization and coordination in 4 steps: (1) 15-minute briefing by phone or email, (2) personalized quote sent within 48 hours, (3) on the day, a 100% turnkey workshop, including activities and meals. We manage everything: venue booking, ingredients, equipment, activities, table service, and cleanup. (4) sending recipes and souvenir photos of your team-building event.
What is the price of a cooking-themed team building event in Bordeaux?
Our team-building activities start at €75 excluding VAT per participant, and customized workshops are available upon request. The price includes instruction by our chefs, equipment, fresh seasonal ingredients, a sit-down meal, a drink, and cleanup. Personalized quotes are available within 48 hours.
How many people can participate?
For group classes: between 8 and 10 participants. For team building or private classes: from 6 to 35 participants. SNCF, Thales, Lagardère, GRDF, AG2R La Mondiale, Bergonié, and other major Bordeaux and national companies trust us for their seminars.
Where do the workshops take place?
Group classes are held in our kitchens in Bordeaux city center: at 5 Allée des Peupliers or 18 Rue de Bègles. For team building and private classes, you have several options: at our numerous partner locations in Bordeaux, selected according to the size of your group, or at your own premises: Bordeaux, Pessac, Mérignac, Talence, Bègles, Le Bouscat, Floirac, Cenon, Lormont, Villenave, Bruges, and throughout the metropolitan area.
